Broadcasts discover interest
An employer creates a shift request with region, timing and requirements. ReadyShift notifies matching workers in staged rings based on published availability and applicable credential status. A worker can express interest, but interest alone neither reserves nor confirms the shift.
Offers create a decision window
The employer selects a worker and sends an offer containing employer-authored engagement terms. Only that worker can accept or decline it. An unaccepted offer expires after its decision window; the employer can then consider another person.
Confirmed bookings and changes
Acceptance confirms the engagement and records credential-status snapshots. Either side can cancel with a reason under the live workflow. Late cancellations are recorded factually. The platform can send a backup broadcast when an employer cancels close to the shift.
Attendance and records
Workers record check-in and check-out for confirmed bookings within the supported time windows. Employer evidence packs combine terms, snapshots, attendance and event history. These are operational records, not payroll, clinical notes or proof that every external obligation has been met.
